Feeling dejected, he went to The Sun Inn pub where he tried a barrel-aged gin and found it smooth and flavourful. He found sometimes, the things you don't find can be just as important as the things you do. The gin, with its elderflower base and fresh oak, was special enough without needing any fairy dust.
